Moco Museum audio tour privacy statement
Moco Museum (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “Moco”) processes personal data of the users of the audio tour. We do this to ensure that our visitors enjoy the best possible museum experience. In this privacy statement, we explain how we handle your personal data.

Who are we?
We are Moco Museum, the trade name of Prins Museum B.V. and we have our registered office in Amsterdam, at Honthorststraat 20, 1071 CZ.
Your data is treated with due care and it is sufficiently protected, in compliance with the general data protection regulation (GDPR) and other applicable regulations.

Which data do we process?
The following data may be processed when installing and using the audio tour:

  • Mac address of your telephone device;
  • IP address of your telephone device.


How do we obtain data?
We obtain your personal data by installing and using the audio tour.

For what purpose do we process your data?
We use your data to:

  • make your audio tour possible 


On what grounds do we use your data?
Our processing of your personal data for the aforesaid purposes is subject to the following legal grounds:

  • implementation of the agreement


For how long do we store your data?
We do not store your data longer than is legally permitted, legally required and/or necessary for the purpose for which the data is processed.

Is your data shared with other parties?
We do not engage any other companies to conduct our audio tour; only authorised Moco employees have access to your personal data, insofar as this is necessary for the performance of their work at Moco.

Your rights
You have a number of rights. They are:

  • The right to be informed and the right of inspection: you can ask us what information we have of you on record and what information we use. We are happy to tell you more about how and why we use this information.
  • The right to rectification: do you believe that the information we have of you on record is incorrect? If so, please tell us so and we will adjust it.
  • The right to be forgotten: you can ask us to remove the data that we have of you on record and that we use. We will do that in most cases, but sometimes we are required to save the data. For example, for tax purposes, when you are still a customer of us in another way.
  • The right to restriction of processing: if you believe that we do something with your data that is not allowed, then you can ask us to stop using your data until we have sorted this out.
  • The right to object: you can object to the use or retention of your data. We will stop processing and we will delete your data, where possible.
  • The right to data portability: you can have the photos and films that you made transferred.


In addition, you can:

  • At all times withdraw your permission. For example, unsubscribe from the newsletter.
  • Submitting a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Do you believe that we are in breach of the rules? If so, please tell us by sending a message at privacy@beeldengeluid.nl. Alternatively, you can submit a complaint about this to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.


Security of your dat
We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and against any use in breach of the regulations.We continue to keep ourselves informed of the current state of affairs regarding technical security of personal data and we will do everything in our power to prevent personal data from being lost or used unlawfully.
