About Moco

Marble Arch

Welcome to Moco Museum, also known as the Modern Contemporary Museum. With locations in Amsterdam, Barcelona and London, Moco exhibits art to inspire new ways of thinking. Artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Banksy, and Jeff Koons have shaped the way we view the world.

Moco looks out to Marble Arch, a symbol of London’s evolving character. It has been a backdrop to numerous historic events from Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation procession to contemporary art installations. Originally designed as a grand entrance to Buckingham Palace in 1827. It was then relocated to its current site just before the Great Exhibition of 1851 – the first international showcase of art and Victorian treasures. Adding to the location’s cultural importance is Speaker’s Corner, where people are free to speak their minds and ideas come alive. In a shared spirit, Moco consciously curates a diverse collection, telling stories that speak to the power of art and engage different perspectives.
